How PR has changed in 25 years

Twenty-five years ago, in 1992, the European Union was founded with the signing of the Maastricht treaty and Freddie Mercury gave his last live performance at the opening ceremony of the Barcelona Olympics. The Leeds Met/Beckett PR degree course also started that year. PR student Kelly Scotney lists what’s changed since.

Leeds Beckett celebrates 25 years of PR education

Leeds Beckett University Public Relations graduates will be gathering in Leeds later this month to celebrate 25 years of PR education at Leeds Business School. The event runs from 1.30 – 9pm on Tuesday 21 March at Leeds Business School and the Radisson Blu Hotel.

Students win prestigious PR prize

Students were tasked with setting up their own ‘mock’ PR agency and devising and delivering an engaging PR pitch for a new shopping centre in the north of England.
