This initiative recognises new talent – the brightest and best of the under 30s who have what it takes to become future major players in the sector.
IoIC president Suzanne Peck said: “When we launched the awards last year, we really didn’t know what the take up would be. But we were nicely surprised at the number of entries we had, and at the quality and sheer talent that entrants demonstrated.”
Are there another 30 talented people out there to become the ‘class of 2014’? “I believe there are,” said Suzanne.
“We know how important it is to identify and support talented practitioners, no matter what their age – but especially at the early stages of people’s careers. The IoIC recognises talented people through different award schemes, but 30 under 30 is designed to promote and recognise the people who will help shape the future of IC, influencing and motivating others that follow.”
This year’s winners will become members of an exclusive network for sharing thoughts, best practice and helping to grow the internal communication profession.
Entries will be judged by a panel of experienced senior practitioners from industry and academia and unveiled at the ‘top 30’ evening reception in London on 21 November 2013.
There is no charge for entries, and the deadline for submissions is 23 September 2013.
