New #socialstudent leader
Last week, we introduced our #socialstudent ranking. This week, we’ve updated the numbers, included some new entrants and have expanded the list to a top 20.
The stats are taken directly from our UK PR student lists on Klout and PeerIndex. (PR students: tell us who you are and we’ll add you to the lists.) There have been some dramatic rises and falls in a few cases (both Klout and PeerIndex show volatility in calculating numbers for relative newcomers) but most numbers are holding steady or showing gradual change from the previous week. We hope, over time, it will become a more reliable ranking.
If you’ve dropped off the list, don’t assume you’ve done anything wrong: Klout and PeerIndex are still perfecting their ways of calculating influence.
This week’s highlight is a new entrant in first place: Hanif Leylabi. Here’s the top twenty (twenty-two because of a three-way tie) with stats up-to-date at 9pm on 10 November 2011:
