LeedsTalksPR: join the conversation

Students and staff from Leeds Beckett University are calling on alumni to contribute to the LeedsTalksPR blog which launches today.

The blog, which covers current affairs, trends in PR and student life, will have contributions from current and past students as well as up-to-date industry insight from academics.

Each week, for the rest of 2017, there will be new written, audio, and video posts that have been created by Leeds Beckett undergraduate and graduate students in Public Relations courses, and peer-reviewed by a strong editorial team.

To further grow the blog, the team behind LeedsTalksPR are inviting Leeds Beckett PR / PR and Journalism alumni to share their experiences of the world of PR. LeedsTalksPR invites alumni posts in any format – written, video, or audio.

The university, which has been offering some of the best Public Relations and PR and Journalism courses in the UK for 25 years, is thrilled to offer current students and alumni the opportunity to come together and share their views on the changing world of PR.

Audra Lawson, who is heading up the creation of the blog at Leeds Beckett, said: “We view this as an opportunity to not only showcase our current students’ excellence but also to stay connected with our great alumni network.”
