Car and cash for ‘most deserving student’

The student winner of a new national competition will take home a car worth over £5,000 and a £1,000 contribution to their student union or a student society of their choice.

After a successful campaign earlier this year which discovered a ‘Most Deserving’ local hero, car advertising site Motors.co.uk are now on the hunt for students that are driven, dedicated and have gone above and beyond for others.

Suitable student nominees may spend their spare time contributing to the community, may enjoy outstanding sporting success, or may have turned their life around and achieved against the odds.

Stephen Jury, Marketing Manager at Motors.co.uk, said:

“We want to celebrate the achievements of young people across the UK and feel it’s time outstanding students were recognised for what makes them unique. Young people don’t always get the helping hand they deserve, especially when it comes to the motoring industry. So we thought a car and a donation would be a great reward to the student and their university.”

The winning student will drive home a sporty Renault Twingo Extreme, worth over £5,000. Fully kitted-out, it’s the perfect nippy car for getting around campus. The winner will also be offered £1,000 to give to their student union or society of their choice, which has helped them aim high and achieve big things.

After the nomination stage closes, ten ‘Most Deserving Students’ will be shortlisted, before they go head-to-head in a voting challenge for the title “Britain’s Most Deserving Student’.
