This event certainly isn’t one to miss. Having seen Bob at a guest lecture at my university I can attest how engaging and charismatic he is. Full of interesting stories and funny anecdotes due to his 50 year-long career within the Public Relations Industry.
Gaining a bachelors in Journalism and a Master’s degree in History before joining the army, Bob put him self in good stead for a prosperous career within the Public Relations field which at the time was most certainly in its infancy. Joining Burson Marsteller who at the time only had six executives, he eventually worked his way up to international chairman of what would become the largest Public Relations firm in the world.
He has worked with a diverse range of clients throughout 50 years including IBM, General Motors, Coca-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Citicorp, McDonalds, American Express, Unilever, as well as hundreds more. A very internationally orientated career, he has also opened offices (for Burson Marsteller) in Asia, Japan, China, Australia, South America and the Middle East- living in Brussels, London and Hong Kong along the way.
The event is guaranteed to be worthwhile, engaging and useful to a variety of audiences. Students and professionals alike, or even those who simply have a curiosity about communications in general.
Please do come along for what is bound to be an enjoyable evening. Tickets can be found here, along with directions.
