Extra Opportunities available: 5: There are lectures and networking events held on a regular basis and students are encouraged to attend. Placements are well supported and help is always on hand.
Accommodation: 4: Good accommodation, suits a variety of budgets as you can choose from apartments or houses. With the city being relatively small all accommodation is within easy reach of the University.
Facilities (including library): 4: Library is great with endless computers and laptops. Group rooms can be booked which offer a sanctuary when it gets really busy near assignment hand in time. The new Business and Law faculty looks like a concept drawing and has great facilities. There are numerous cafés on site as well as a licensed bar.
Nightlife: 5: Great night out. There are regular events at the Student Union nightclub as well as gigs from performers such as Tinie Tempah and Pixie Lott. Lincoln has something going on every night which means no matter when you want to go out there will bb something happening.
Students Union: 4: The union tries to engage students as much as possible and acts as a go between for the student and the University. Always keen to get our thoughts and make changes for our best interests.
Lincoln offers the best of both worlds. It is small enough for you to feel comfortable if it is your first time away from home but there is enough going on for you to always be busy. It would suit students who want to look back at University with happy thoughts.
