Anyone who uses the word "spin" in a book title to describe the practice of PR deserves all the crud that is coming down on you. Your emphasis on media relations is proof of how out of touch you are with the current practice of PR. You have done the tens of thousands of PR counselors who behave ethically and uphold the PRSA Member Code of Ethics a disservice with your callous portrayal of the role we play. I'm glad USA Today panned your book so we don't have future clients wondering why we refuse to lie on their behalf.
